This LAK 12 was reviewed in detail by Dick Johnson and the article was published in Soaring Magazine in July 1996. The article is available on request. The plane has been based in Texas since importation and is currently in Fredericksburg Tx 78624. Since I purchased the plane the landing gear and water system have been reconditioned and the plane has been well looked after. The last flight of the plane was 610 kms and is ideal for long distance badge flights. More details are available on request. The plane has flown 403 hours. The plane was manufactured by Sportina Aviacija 1992

Do you have a current annual for the aircraft?
The last annual I can prove is 2011. The plane was last flown in 2013 however the annual was given to me on a sticky note to put in the log book. I currently can not find the note. The annual was done by Mark Huffstutler out of Uvalde Tx
Do you have all log books and manuals?
I have a whole folder of English manuals (inches thick)
Any damage history to the aircraft?
I am not aware of any damage other than normal bumps and scrapes. Tail wheel needs replacing (which I have) picture of broken and new wheel enclosed. If you land on grass there is no need for the tail wheel.
When was the plane last flown?
2013 in Uvalde, Tx I did a 610 km flight.

Any aircraft issues or problems?
No other than showing its age!
I have worked on the canopy, water system and undercarriage since owning the glider.
Trailer type, is the trailer in good condition, trailer problems? Factory trailer.
The trailer is serviceable but in need of some work, mainly a paint job. The rear door was replaced and has warped but is normally keep close tight with a tie down. It has newish tires. I checked the axles and electrical this year. I towed the glider from Houston to Fredericksburg when I bought it and then to Uvalde or Boerne Stage each year. I towed the trailer into Fredericksburg this year for an inspection. A length (5 ft) of wing dolly channel needs replacing before it is cold. I will do this before selling.
Is the plane/trailer stored in a hanger or outside?
The plane is stored in the trailer outside but under shade
Do you have rigging equipment, for example one man rigging system?
Wing closing tool, water filling equipment, covers, Tail dolly, tow bar and wing wheel are all included.
