You are bidding on a piece of American History
The T28 was a military trainer plane developed and flown in the early 50"s
Here is your chance to own one or maybe you already do and are in need of those "Hard to Find Parts"
S/N 51-3693
Reg: N14124
Was used by the French Air Force up till 1972 where it was brought back to the U.S. I have Airframe logs dating back to 72"
As you can see this T-28 is damaged. Aircraft made a forced landing in the New Mexico desert after engine seized on departure.
The wings and engine broke off, fuselage is mangled in several areas. There is alot of damage however there is ALOT of good parts!
Complete Panels with Instruments, cockpit items
Horizontals and elevators where not damaged and were unbolted. Landing gears where in the UP position so they should be okay. Airframe internals are all there, nothing was pulled or removed since the accident.
Engine is seized with one cylinder being pulled in investigate.
Windshield is intact, canopy is broken
