Title: 1966 Piper Cherokee Six 260 Installed and fully operational is a Garmin 430 WAAS, connected to an HSI with glideslope. The Stec 30 will fly the approach with the assistance of GPSS steering. Your tracking and waypoints also display on the Garmin 496 panel mounted directly below. The Shadin Fuel management system will show fuel at next waypoint or destination, current fuel flow rate, nautical miles per gallon, and total fuel remaining. Check out the avionics and mods list below. This airplane has never been crashed or landed hard. There is no corrosion. The thick windshields, in excellent condition keep the cabin noise level low. I have all log books and records since the airplane was new. Useful load is 1540 pounds. So you can fly 6 people, full fuel, and bags. Performance is close to that of a 300-6. At 50 degrees F, close to ISA, with 2 pilots and full fuel, climbs out initially at 1500 fpm, then climbs up through 3000 ft at 1000 fpm. Cruise speed is 140 knots true. The Lopresti and Knots2U speed mods are a factor. Engine cylinder compressions will show between 76 and 78 over 80psi. I just had a brand new exhaust system and a vacuum pump installed. Engine is very clean. There has been no cylinder replacements or major engine work SMOH.
