Piper J3-C65. 1946 Cub. Complete aircraft minus Prop, Wing Struts, and three instruments. The last annual was 1-7-84, Airframe T.T.6591 hrs. Engine is a Continental 65 hp. It has 861 hrs. SMOH, log books from 1948. I have own the aircraft since 1975. The registration and airworthiness certificate are current. Aircraft was stored in my hangar and engine was stored in my dry basement and has all accessories. Engine turns freely. The aircraft was flying when disassembled for restoration. Wings were covered in 1972 with ceconite and one has a small tear, they have metal spars. The fuselage was covered earlier with cotton. Picture shows tear in fabric near tail area. There is no damage to aircraft structure other than a slight bend in one elevator. I will assist in loading or shipping.
