This listing is for a Piper Senica I aircraft (PA-34-200). The aircraft was one of the last of the assembly lines in 1974 before production switched to the Senica II. This aircraft has a remarkable story. The plane was purchased to be placed into a flight school. The aircraft spent 12 months in a total ground up restoration. Flight school closed before aircraft was finished and that is why we are selling the aircraft. Below will be a description of all items that have been accomplished, but the more straightforward thing to say is that the only original item is the skin and airframe. The aircraft was restored with one thing in mind to be a dependable modern multi-engine aircraft in a flight school and to have years of trouble-free operation. A lot of love time and money was spent on the aircraft more than can ever be recovered in this sale. This might be the finest example of a Senica I on Earth.
Basic Info Total Time 6200Time Since complete restoration 8 hours.
Airframe - was stripped using a chemical stripper all fairing were removed and the aircraft was repainted using a two-stage process of self-etching aircraft primer followed by two coats of Matterhorn white. All fiber glass and plastic fairing were striped repaired and painted as well. All flight control surfaces were removed and rebalanced, and the flight control cables were replaced. All exterior lights were replaced with aviation LED lights from Wheelen with all STC completed. The right fuel tank was also replaced at this time. As a bonus to the buyer, the striping is vinyl and can be replaced easily.
Landing Gear- the landing gear was completely removed and sent off for extensive overhaul. All hydraulic lines replaced along with all synchro devices with brand new units (landing gear actuators). Brand new breaks and new tires instaled. ALL brand new squat switches and gear up and down limit sensor replace with brand new units from piper.
Power Plants- all components from the firewall forward on both engines replaced- Engines Overhauled by a major shop with new cam and crank they come with 500HR warranties-Engine mounts overhauled-New Barry Mounts-ALL new hoses-New alternators-Overhaul prop governors-New skyteck starters-New magnitos-Overhauled exhaust system-All new hardware-New vacuum pumps-new fuel pumps-One propr and hub overhauled -One brand new-New baffling -New air filter boxes with new challenger air filters-New BatteriesI am probably missing something but I hope you get the point if it"s under the cowl it"s new
Electrica System- all voltage regulators new and updated most of the electrical replaced and rewired
Interior- brand new interior from the headliner to the floor. The seats were, and the foam was replaced with new aviation high-density foam so the aircraft could be used by students without wearing out the seats. All plastic replaced and painted.
Avionics- The aircraft went through, and extensive avionics upgrade. All the old wiring and systems removed we wanted a fresh and clean start for the plane. The aircraft has a brand new glare shield, and modern machined aluminum panel powder coated black. All flight instruments have LED lighting.
