“1980's Quicksilver Mx.”
Make: quicksilver Model Year: mx
Relisted do to the last buyer backing out after an accident he had after hitting the BUY IT NOW and before picking up this ultralight.
This is a very nice Early 80"s Quicksilver Mx. The sails are like new with only a few flights on them and always hangared/stored indoors. NO HANGAR RASH.
This little beauty has many of the desirable, and expensive, upgrades that you would want to do, done already!
UPGRADES INCLUDE: High thrust kitTapered tailLower tail tubesNew 64" propBrakesAnd almost NEW SAILS! Again, there are only a few flights on these sails and NO hangar rash. Stored Indoors.
This sweet little bird has been a hangar queen. Was previously owned by an A&P that never flew it. (He was never able to get his own property and kept it stored it at a controlled field were ultralights are NOT legal to operate)
It has a Cuyuna 430 engine that is tight and has great compression.
1 tire has a leaky tube, but I may be able to patch the tube before you get here to pick it up.
As I have recently moved it to my house, It is currently disassembled and on my trailer. I don"t have a runway so it needs a new home.
I can deliver it for a reasonable fee. I will deliver anywhere within 3 hrs of Vancouver Wa for $300.00
If you want to me set it back up at a local airstrip and demo fly it for you, that will be an additional $300.00
The reserve is $2075.00 Once the reserve is met, the BUY IT NOW option leaves forever.
Remember, it is a DISASSEMBLED ultralight for sale. Bid knowing that you are buying it AS-IS, no warranty expressed or implied. Even if you choose to have me set it up and demo fly it, I in NO way express or imply that it is airworthy. It is up to the buyer to determine airworthiness before they fly it themselves. Check my feedback, I aim to please and accurately describe what I am selling.
I would like to clear up several of things.
First, this is a complete ultralight. It is currently in storage, but everything is here that you need to reassemble and fly it.
Second. It does run. I put fresh gas in it last week and it fired right up. I would recommend replacing the rear main seal as it doesn"t idle perfectly. It still runs good, but I think the seal has started to dry out from sitting so long.

Lastly, I have lowered the reserve to $2,075.00 to offset the cost of the rear seal which is $15, and an hour to install it.
