The main rotor blades are asymmetric Rotorway blades and while they are older production they have had the rivet mod done and are identical to current production blades. These blades have less than 10 hours on them and if you were to buy a new set from Rotorway today they are over $10,000. The frame has been stretched to accommodate the longer blades.
The 145 engine also has less than 10 hours on it. The magneto has been replaced with a 152 distributer set-up to help lengthen the belt life, actually it doubles the recommended belt replacement time. The original mag is complete and included in the auction, along with some other spare parts, manual, and prints. There is also a set of doors that I picked up somewhere but have not installed. Passenger side is good but the pilot side door is broken, I think it could be used as a pattern to mold a new one.
As you can see in the pictures the ship has full dual controls. The instrumentation is basic but functional. All belts and hoses were replaced two years ago. It is pretty much ready for someone with more time than me to complete testing. You can see a video online of it hovering by searching Scorpion First Hover. It"s not a high quality video but shows the machine is stable and in the air under its own power.
