The airframe would require significant repairs in order to ever be airworthy again. The wings are in good condition and appear to only need minor attention to be used again. Damage seems to be isolated to the vertical stabilizer, turtle deck and canopy. There are lots of great parts on this plane should someone else be building a KR2, or a similar VW powered experimental aircraft. The plane only saw 13.7hrs of use before being de-registered and put in storage due to damage from being flipped over in a storm. Some of the features include a VW 1835 engine (no prop), slick magneto ignition, 12v starter, King KX145, Cleveland 5.00-5 wheels and brakes, new replacement canopy, lots of documentation/plans/KR newsletters/construction photos etc. If you have specific questions, please call or text 515-three 9 three-7203.
