I have 2 Robinson R44s that I am currently working on and have come to a point where I can no longer finish them. Both have logs and N8345T has an airworthiness cert and registration. Here’s my story. Back about 2010 I purchased a R44 Astro N8345T out of Florida. I flew it a while until it calendared out and need some work so I began an extensive overhaul project. It had a little time to go on some of the time life components. About a year into my project I acquired a 2007 wrecked Raven 1 with only 300 hours on the components. I completely striped both ships. I striped the paint from the Astro both in and out, repainted the interior flat black and primed the exterior with epoxy grey primer. Took it down to the bare frame just like it was when they built it and began reassembly. I installed the hydraulics off of the Raven, Changed out the wiring harness and all electrical components. I have it running with it almost completed. The tail boom is off and there is some finish up work to be done. I am unable to do this now. I know I can’t get my money back out of this project but there are a lot of serviceable parts in this deal (The 300 hour engine is worth half the cost). I have all the left over Astro parts, including spare engine core (complete), MR Trans, etc. I don’t know if this will interest you. If it does I am looking for 45K for all the Robinson parts I have.
