The workmanship on this airplane appears to be excellent. As you can see from the pictures the structure has been built and assembled. Nearly everything is here to complete the build. Wheels and tires look like new. The front gear is retractable. All of the plans, templates, blueprints and several manuals are included. The engine mount is included. Strobes are included.
I was planning on using an o-235. The mount and instructions are included.
I am including the better part of 2 Lycoming o-235 engines. The engines will need to be overhauled, but would work fine for mocking up the rest of the aircraft. Unfortunately the crankshaft was damaged by UPS and will not be usable.
This airplane project is located in DeKalb Illinois at DeKalb airport. This is about 2 hours west of Chicago. It is stored in an enclosed hangar. The winner of this auction can keep it in the hangar until pickup arrangements are made. I would like to see it moved out by the weekend after the OshKosh airshow if possible.
