Item specifics Here are some video"s here NICE STARDUSTER TOO Airframe 1,200TT, 180HP o-360 820TT SMOH, Times change as I fly it. Narco 810 digital radio, Updated KLN89B GPS, Transponder, intercom, Alternator, ELT, polished prop. Scott 3200 tail wheel. 3 point LED Nav/Strobe lights. Military style 4 point harness seat belts. It was originally built in 1972 and restored in 1987 and has always been hangered. It is covered in Ceconite with Sterling Epoxy Enamal, Stits Aerothane and Dupont Imron paint. Super nice paint shceme with 6 or 7 different starburst colors. I have some magazines that the plane was featured in. There are some small expected paint chips and paint cracks that are there but are not an issue as far as airworthiness and I give the overall condition an 8. Take a close look at the pictures as I try to be as forthright and honest about the condition as I can be. Spades on Ailerons. When you are flying, stick forces are very nice and light. For example, while you are sitting in your chair reading this, put your hand on an invisible stick between your legs (Keep your thoughts clean man!) and move it around like you are flying a plane, that is almost how much force is needed to fly this thing. It"s nice. I spin it regularly up to 4 turns in both directions and spins are normal with no bad habits. It almost wants to come out of the spin after two turns but will then stabilize. Loops are a no brainer. The roll rate is not to fast as this is a two aileron plane and does not have ailerons on the top wing but will still do nice big barrel rolls. No inverted fuel or oil. I have personally test flown the plane to 5G"s and up to the redline speed of 180 mph with no bad habits or problems. It is rated for 6G"s.Lands like a taildragger with no unusual bad habits. I only had about 10 hours of tailwheel time when I purchased it. It was intimidating at first but now it is my favorite plane to land.It has one 28 gallon fuel tank. Just rebuilt the Dukes fuel pump. Two soft helmets w/ David Clark Headsets are included so all you have to do is fly here, jump in, and take off. It has matching color seats and a cockpit cover. Annual due in July. For those of you who know Stardusters you will want to know these numbers. Gear is moved back 6" from Firewall. Motor mount is 21". Tail wheel weight is 145#. Empty weight is 1276#. Fuel burn is around 8 to 11 GPH depending on how your are setting your power. Cruise is around 120 but can"t be sure as I fly this local and am usually goofing around and not flying straight and level. The reason I am selling is that I have several planes and two of them are open cockpits so I just plain don"t need this one around. It has taken me awhile to list it as I go back and forth in wanting to sell it as it is just so fun on those hot summer evenings smoking up the skies.Oh ya, I forgot to tell you about the Smoke! It has a great Newer Smoke System with new pump, needle valve and injectors. The smoke system is one of the funnest things on this plane. I can"t describe the fun that I have had smoking up the local sky. It lays down impressive smoke and the exhaust pipes are long enough to where the smoke oil leaves no residue on the plane. The guy I bought it from was 6"4" and weighted around 260# and he said it fit him. I weigh 210 and am 6" and is a nice fit. As it is on open cockpit airplane with no heater I will offer to store this plane in my hanger until July 1st for free so you can fly it home during warm weather. After that you can still keep it here but will be charged $250 a month. The plane is based at a private grass airstrip called Meadowmist (wn35) in Ferndale, Washington State. You can fly into Bellingham International (KBLI) which is only 15 min. away from the plane. I have set the price low in my opinion and think this is going to be a big bang for the buck. I think you will be happy with it as I have been happy with it.I may consider a trade for a boring plane to help you get into this fun plane but your plane has to be priced very nicely so that I can sell it immediately.Thank you.
