Stanson 108 -1. I have owned this airplane for many years and flew it to Mexico. I landed on some primitive airstrips and beaches. It is a wonderful airplane and a good flyer. However without good tail wheel training and practice this airplane can seriously embarrass you. I spent $16,000 having the engine completely rebuilt. Everything that could be replaced is new. The engine was filled to the top with the motor oil and stored. I didn’t do the rebuilding of the rest of the airplane. The airplane is apart now and needs put back together. All the parts are there. My strength and health has failed and I must sell this airplane The airplane has been sheltered from the elements ever since I have owned it.
