Come enjoy the fragrance of rich leather that fills this completely restored late model Cessna 172N. Nothing was spared in the process. All seats, door panels and trim pieces were removed, metal parts were sand blasted and epoxy painted before being recovered with Airtex grey leather. A new headliner and all interior plastic panels were replaced or refurbished and installed over the most modern and high performance soundproofing available - SoundX. New lap seat belts, new inertial reel shoulder belts and a new dash board are also installed. All window glass has been replaced, including a new heavy duty windshield. Tinted and fully articulating window shades (STC) were installed along with the new windscreen. Interior fittings were refurbished or replaced and new soft-close door gas springs – the Door Steward system - were installed along with new seatbelts and inertial roller shoulder belts as well. The baggage area was also rebuilt with new carpeting and added cargo hold down nets. The main gear wheels and brakes are new and the Cleveland Conversion represents a major upgrade. Wheel pants on all wheels add several knots to the airspeed and all tires and tubes are also newly replaced. All new, low profile antennae add to the quiet and increased cruise. The brand new avionics panel was built from scratch from plate aluminum that was laser cut and powder coated in matching grey. All electrical components such as switches and breakers were replaced with new units and a separate avionics control switch was installed. All electric and vacuum instruments were removed and overhauled (Horizon, DG, Tachometer, Compass, Turn and Bank, VSI and Altimeter) and a suite of new radios and navigation capability integrated into and even behind the panel. A brand new Repco vacuum pump was also installed. The panel includes: New PS Engineering PMA 6000B four place audio panel with soft switching, marker beacons and music input. New Garmin 400 WAAS GPS with G106 OBS indicator. Overhauled KX155 Nav-Comm including Glide Slope and a King 208 GS/LOC OBS as well. New ICom A-210 Comm as #2 with many advanced features. New King KT67C Transponder and new transponder antenna with digital input that is ADS-B ready. Century I autopilot overhauled and operating for wing leveling and steering. Updated engine and electrical status gauges and fuel quantity indicators. Astrotech multi-function chronometer installed. High voltage and low vacuum lighted indicators installed for safety. A new 406 compliant ELT is installed and linked to the GPS. The addition of a 12V outlet on the front panel to power any devices. A custom designed IPad holder for EFB visibility and easy use in flight. And behind the panel is a WX receiver that can receive XM weather products by subscription and transmit them wirelessly to any compatible EFB device such as an iPad with ForeFlight.
