Ultralight Aircraft, Gold Wing, un-started kit, complete, with all documents, manuals and boxes of kit parts. Encludes even the engine and propeller. This is a new, unstarted kit that has been stored inside a heated space for over 30 years.
This is a simple to build fiberglass and foam plane that is a canard, Burt Rutan"s design.
Top speed is 120MPH, and stall speed is 29MPH, very fuel efficient, cruise 300 Miles on 5 gallons. of regular unleaded automotive fuel

The whole kit could fit into a van, or a pickup truck. We have all of the foam Cores for the wing already pre cut from the factory. I may deduct a few hundred dollars if you don"t want to buy the motor. Call with questions at 516 680 6787On Oct-01-15 at 04:15:47 PDT, seller added the following information: This kit came with the upgraded, stronger, heavy duty main wing spar. It is premade, fiberglass, composite construction. This was one of the later kits sold, it had all of the upgrades. This plane could be used for crop dusting, with a special kit. With the stonger spar, it can carry 500 lbs is what I was told. And some say it still flys fine even with 500 lbs of load in it.Also worth mentioning, after you have built this plane, it is designed to fold up. Just a few bolts and you can take the wings off and the canard off and then load it into a trailer. Or truck. On Oct-01-15 at 04:25:14 PDT, seller added the following information:This is an Ultralight,... Ultra lite,.... No license needed,..... The dry weight should come out to be about 275. Which is under 300 lbs and it can be an ultralight. No license needed. No registration needed. It is designed and sold as an ultralight aircraft kit. Even if the empty weight comes out to be over 300 lbs, you still have an ultralight here, a certified kit as an ultralight. I did forget to mention one thing,... we did throw out the old resin and fiberglass cloth that was with the kit, I felt it was to old to trust the strength of that stuff, enough resin and glass for this kit may cost around $200 to $300. in fact if you want to build the plane in carbon fiber, that"s what I was going to do, it would be stronger, and lighter. That would run around $500 and I may be able to sell you the carbon fiber cloth at 50% off for around $200, I think I have a roll of it, enough for this plane. On Oct-01-15 at 06:51:30 PDT, seller added the following information:I was off with the numbers there,
The ultralight Company that created this kit, was approved in the early 1980"s to sell this kit as an ultralight qualified aircraft. I read in the manual that it should come out between 25 and 30 lbs less than the legal limits. There for I thought it was 275 lbs empty, I may have been off because I thought that the legal limit for Part 35 was 300 lbs, but I realize now that it is more like 254 lbs. So regardless of the numbers that I thought it is, or should be, it is certified to fly as an ultralight meaning that it will not need to be registered or inspected. You will be allowed to fly this Awesome flying machine without a pilots license.
I am a private pilot and A&P mechanic. three time aircraft builder and still working on more projects than I can handle. To many planes fill my hanger so this great project must go to another home, as I have a long EZ moving in soon.
Just to mention, in two weekends, you should be able to complete the wings on this Gold Wing. A third weekend should finish the fuselage and then a bit of small projects will take some time to connect the dots, cables, rigging and so on. Not to bad of a project.
