Up for sale is my Rans S4. It is equipped with a Rotax 503 DCDI with 2.58 b box and electric start on the back cover. Propeller is a Powerfin b blade prop. The dash is carbon fiber and the Icom radio and headset are included but not the Samsung tablet. The sails are in good shape but I need to do a little cleaning as I fly grassfields and some Backcountry Flying. They are a little less than 2 years old. There is one little tear on the right wing topskin that I have sewn and patched. Also the cowling has some cracks and could stand to be bodyworked and repainted but it does the job just fine. I bought this plane about 4 years ago and completely rebuilt it by the manual and upgraded the wing spars and a few other things. I first flew it about 15-20 hours with a old 503 points engine and belt drive but soon bought the current engine. The current 503 had about 80 hrs when I installed it I freshened it with new pistons, rings, and seals about 180 hrs ago. I fly this plane nearly every day and right now it has about 260hrs TT on the airframe and 240TT on the current engine. I"m 5"11" 240 pounds and fly mountains and cross-country in this plane. It is very easy to fly and I fly it as an Ultralight so no license required. I do have build logs for it and construction pics, etc if someone wishes to register it EAB. I do not care to register it and fly it as an Ultralight without issue. The only reason I"m selling is I"m purchasing a 2 place STOL Plane and I"m also restoring a 46 Champ so I need the hanger space. This plane is always hangered and I fly it regularly so the hours will change. I will accept a $500 non-refundable deposit within 24 hrs of the sell and cash or certified check upon pickup within 2weeks. Local pickup and we"ll take it apart or it can be flown home or ferried to your place within reasonable distance. Plane is also listed elsewhere for sell so I do reserve the right to end auction early. Thanks, and happy bidding!
