This is a Vans RV-6 Project that is near complete that I am selling. I have not done the work. I bought this aircraft from an estate here in town with the intentions of reselling. This RV-6 is about done. It does need some final assembly, but if I were to guess, I would say it is about 75% of the way done. The sheet metal on this is actually really good shape. The rivet work looks nice too.The S/N# 20441, Kit was bought 09-19-1988From what I can tell, the entire aircraft is here. The entire kit for sure is here with fuselage, wings and all control surfaces. The have all been primed with a grey primer and ready for paint. WHeel pants and wing tips and many more pieces are here and counted for I also have tons of rivets and all hardware that you should need to complete the aircraft, bags and bags of it! I also have all of the kit instruction, diagrams, manuals, etc!Take a look at the pictures. You are getting everything in the pictures, EXCEPT for the Headsets in the black box.ENGINEThe engine is a Javelin Ford Engine 3.8L V-6. From what I can tell in the paperwork it is a 200 Horse power engine. You could either keep it or remove this sell and get a popular Lycoming. From what I can get out of the information packet, I think the engine is used and was told it only had 3500 miles on it, but I have noting to prove it! . Looks like he spent about $7500 on engine.It is equipped with the Big reduction Gear driveLooks like this thing only burns 7.0 Gallons an hourI do not have a prop for this!I do have a spinner - 2 blade I have tons of information on this engine, but no logs.
