Today I have for sale a Varieze project that I acquired a couple of years ago. The plane was striped for repaint when the owner passed. All of the plane was striped of paint and started with the filling and sanding. I had it delivered and stored in my hanger, then work took me out of the country for nearly 2 years. I retired in April and looked forward to starting on some of my aircraft projects. then my health as well as my wife"s health took a turn. and I find I have far to many projects and need to downsize. I have 23 projects. And the hanger, and or storage units are getting far to costly. some of them will have to go. so this is the first one. here"s what I know. it was built in 1981 and de-registered in 2003 It had a O-200 engine (not included) I was going to use a Subaru conversion on it that I purchased separately. The project is complete except the engine and prop. it also comes with a new NACA inlet that has been installed and was acquired from Klaus Savier. the bottom of the engine cowl needs to be modified to accept the new inlet. Also included is a Narco AT150 transponder,850 encoder, airspeed indicator, altitude indicator, VSI, turn bank indicator, oil pressure gauge, and cylinder temperature gauges. It also includes new tires, new tubes, new brake pads, and rebuild kits for wheel cylinders and lines. and new fuel caps. The original set of plans is included as well.
