I am selling my Varieze project. I purchased this project a few years ago and placed it in my hangar. Then work took me out of the country for a couple of years and during that time I acquired several more projects in hopes of completing them when I retired. Now I find that I have too many projects and need to downsize. Please look at the photos because what is in the photos is what"s for sale. This was a flying aircraft. It was powered by a Continental O-200 engine which I did not buy. Therefore, no motor or prop is included in this auction. It has been sanded down to the fiberglass, structure inspected and the microfill started. The wings and canard are done except for final sand and seal. The rest of the aircraft needs sanded and finished, some fill has been applied. It has a new NACA inlet installed on the aft which was acquired from Klaus Savier. The bottom of the engine cowl needs modified to accept the new NACA inlet. I purchased an Eggenfellner Subaru conversion engine for this aircraft that I will be selling in another auction, it"s a supercharged 160 HP motor. Also included in this auction is a Narco AT150 transponder, 850 encoder, airspeed indicator, altitude indicator, VSI, turn and bank indicator, oil pressure and cylinder temp gauges. Also a complete set of plans may be included if I can find them. I have a low reserve and require a $500.00 deposit at the end of the auction and balance in cash when the plane is picked up.
