Up for auction is an original unbuilt 1970s BD-5 single man aircraft kit. The kit comes with all the correspondence between the owner and BEDE Aircrafts Inc, blueprint, and schematics. The correspondence detail the orders/events of the build from 1973 to 1978. Includes all newsletters, information kits, parts list, and letters detailing the loss of funding and the bankruptcy procedure.
The paperwork also has a letter from the owner to the U.S District Court in Kansas stating that the kit is missing it"s engine, propeller, drive system, electrical system, landing gear components, control components, and miscellaneous parts. These parts are still missing from the kit. Almost all items present are still wrapped in their original packaging and in good condition.
The airplane sat in a garage its whole life and was never attempted to be built. Buyer is responsible to pay for shipping, we will work with you to find the most reasonable shipping service.
