Amphibious Avid Catalina. This plane is Beautiful. Airplane has 2 hours of flight time. Engine is a new ROTAX 582cc Blue head with oil injection and gear reduction Engine has 2 spark plugs per cylinder, is fully broken in and runs great. The airplane was flown for 2 hours and flew wonderfully. The wingspan is 36 feet and took up all the space in my hanger so I took the wings off of it to start another project and have not had the time to re assemble it or fly it. I have done lots of upgrades to it like Gullwing doors and formula 1 inspired full custom engine cowling and dual radiators instead of one bulky radiator. Has fully retractable gear as well as retractable water rudder. Paint is beautiful and a real eye catcher. Avionics is a Flight-line FL-760 with intercoms. The Hull has been reinforced with Carbon fiber. Aircraft empty weight is 600LBS and Gross weight is 1200LBS. Cruise speed is 70MPH and Climb rate is 1000 ft per minute. Aircraft has not been landed in water yet .Lack of space and Wife says it must go is the reason I am selling. Upon purchasing this aircraft it will come with a fresh annual condition inspection. $500 deposit required within 48 hours of auction ending and full payment required within 7 days.
