Curtiss Jenny 2/3 scale airplane. This plane was built in 1992 by Walter Treadwell, and carries serial number 3. It has dual controls and full instrumentation. The engine is a 58 horsepower Rotax, with gear reduction and electric start. The plane needs some attention. I bought it recently, hoping I could convert it to qualify for ultralight status, but it"s too heavy to make that practical. According to the previous owner, the plane had a rough landing in a field in 2003 that caused minor damage to the wings and landing gear. He stored the plane and pickled the engine, which turns freely and looks to be in good shape.
