i haven up for bid , is a homebuilt BM8 Benson gyrocopter power by a 532 rotax engine. The aluminum blades are in good shape, they are 11 ft sport rotor blades,with a foot hub bar totalling 25 ft The green blades are huese369 helicopter blades,with a bensen hub bar and an old bensen glider head rotor which need bearing and the cheek plates which will be up for the buyer to decide if he want them for an extra 300.00. If not they will be sold in another auction The benson which is is for sale now is what ur bidding on .It has a 532 rotax engine with 346 hrs on hobbs overhauled at 240 hrs the remaining hrs was just from running up an down run way for testing. The engine has 128and 130 on compression test. The engine usually starts on second or third pull Really run well. For instrument it has EGT which i never had any luck with the china made probes the fuel gauge is not hook up , It has altimeter ,ball cornator, airspeed,vertical up down,tech,water temp, indicatores hobbs meter and a china rotor speed indicator which is junk.It does have a pre rotor on the gyro that works well I have over 7000.00 invested in this gyro and my reserve is half of that It only have front brake tires are new This old benson could be used as a glider if motor was removed. This is not a toy, its a real flying gyro and training should be done before attemping to fly this gyro. The buyer will have to sign a waiver of liablity for my protection It, is an old new gyro and will be sold as is, were is .
