Hi, I’m selling my Maxair Drifter with Rotax 503 with dual carburetor, dual ignition. I’ve enjoyed it for ten years. It starts easily, flies easily, and lands easily on grass or concrete. It cruises at 50-65 mph and lands at about 35. I put new tires on it last winter. The engine was rebuilt by Leading Edge Airfoils, a Rotax Service center, in January 2017. The engine has 49 hours since it was overhauled. It is in annual until December. This airplane is N1701B, a E-LSA, experimental light sport airplane. It can be flown by a sport pilot or above and a driver’s license for a medical. Because it is an E-LSA you can take a two day course and get approved to do the annual condition inspection yourself. It has two five gallon fuel tanks, burns about gallons an hour and it has two seats. It is kept in a heated hangar. I fly it once or twice a week. It is a delight to fly. I’m 70 and I have three airplanes so it’s time to downsize.
