Whether You are looking for an Airline job or just need a sweet and inexpensive cross country machine, the iconic Piper Twin Comanche will fit the bill. Show me another twin that burns 6.5 gals and hour each side and will do 160 knots! Tip tanks give You 120 gal and almost 7 hours of range. I have owned this bird for 5 years and now need to move up, reluctantly, to a bigger twin to haul the family. IO 320"s at 160 hp, with about 1400 hours on each. All 8 cylinders overhauled in the last 30 hours and she runs great. Altimatic III Auto Pilot is coupled to the nav and gps. It is an older GX 55 but is enroute IFR certified and still supported by garmin. AP holds heading great but not altitude. I had the control head repaired but I think the servo for alt needs overhaul. trim it up right and You don"t really need alt anyway. It does have a small dent in the starboard wing but it does not affect flight. Do Your research, ask Your Wife, Mom, or whomever You need permission from and fly this twinkie home. Annual good through the end of the year.
