1978 PIPER PA38 TOMAHAWK no RESERVE great fun plane or get you"re licence in it and save a lot of money fly cheap only 5-6gph, recent annual (next due 10/2019) , flies well (just did a 1000NM tip) and to the Bahamas last week, TT approx 6400h Engine Lycoming O235 approx 2097h (recommended TBO 2400h) times will go up since the plane is flow regular, engine runs well and does not use or burn oil, the aircraft well maintained (all AD"s complied with at last annual),, paint and interior in decent shape (of course small chips here and there) , like new glass, much roomier than a Cessna 150 /152, modern style instrument panel layout with standard T-configuration gyros, center stack, throttle quadrant, toe brakes on pilot and copilot side ,shoulder harness, dual USB Charger with voltmeter, VFR, almost new GARMIN radio, NARCO ECRORT II digital NAV, NARCO LCD digital transponder, 2 place intercom, dual PTT, 7” moving map GPS tablet with current VFR/IFR charts, USB charger, 32 gal fuel (long range), no corrosion (plane just came to Florida, from then central USA) it flies well, log are complete, plane is based at KPGD (Punta Gorda), included in the sale but currently not installed ( older Trimble TNL2000 IFR GPS) logs, color GPS tablet with aviation maps, tow bar, log books, maintenance records, airworthiness certificate, current custom sticker, can deliver for expenses only (have to be paid in advance) pre-buy inspections welcome (will assist if required), test flights for non buyers $80/h. and finally the legal stuff:being 40+ years it sold as is where is however the seller states the plane in in flying condition with a valid annual inspection and transponder check.
