SMOH 10 hrs. (1999) Continental W-670-6N. S/N 18481. Chrome cylinders. Last annual(10/14) all compressions were 70 or better.
SPOH 10 hrs (1999) McCauley propeller

Owned by current owner since 1998.
Jasco Alternator. Starter. Nav and 3 point strobe lights
Red-line Disc brakes installed last annual
King Comm, intercom and Narco TXP.

Current owner ground looped it in 1998 and the lower left wing was overhauled. Owner was having problems with the engine at that time, so he decided to overhaul it with an exchanged overhauled one and the prop was overhauled too.
This Stearman was in the Army and then did some crop dusting. The logs start in 1977 when it was overhauled, inspected and issued a Standard Airworthiness Certificate.(see logbook entry)
Covered in CECONITE Fabric is in excellent shape and the propeller was pulled through every month and was running a few times after the 2014 Annual. Owner hasn"t flown it since 2000.
