** NO RESERVE **
Wouldn"t it be great to train or build hours in a great flying plane that burns 5 gallons of fuel per hour and can run on auto fuel*? (*if you can buy it without ethanol in your area) Well, here"s your chance! Think about it....5 gallons per hour, $2.25/gallon means that you can fly for $11.25/hour! This is a great flying Cessna 150 that runs flawlessly, uses no oil and needs nothing before you can start flying it. The annual was just completed in February of 2016 and is good for almost another year.
**Delivery possible if you are unable to pick up in person**
Airframe: 5734 Total Time on Airframe. Recently, new nosewheel steering boots were installed and new ELT battery. In the last few years, the instrument panel was replaced and completely reconfigured to a "standard" layout. Paint is average with a few blemish areas, the largest being on the right tip of horizontal stabilizer as shown in photos. It would probably look a lot better if it were cleaned, buffed and waxed but I"ve been too busy at work to get that done.
Engine: 1275 hours Since Major Overhaul and 5734 Total Time on the Continental O-200. Compression is outstanding at 68/70/66/70. On a recent cross country 3 hour flight, it used no oil. There are no excessive leaks. The carb was overhauled at last annual and cylinders #1 and #3 have less than 200 hours on them. The spinner has just been replaced with a new one with receipt of over $1000 for the part alone! Prop has been refinished and looks great.
Avionics: King KX 170B Nav/Com radio Narco AT150 transponder
This is a great running plane that starts easily and flies hands off. It just flew a 3 hour cross country flight with respectable speeds and very low fuel burn. It would make a perfect trainer, time builder or just a fun aircraft to fly extremely economically. Aircraft is located at 7M5 airport in Ozark, AR. As stated before, delivery is possible.
