Airframe TT 3867, NDH, Engine Lycoming IO540 non turbo with 1539 SMOH, Hartzell HC-C34R-1R. Leather , new paint and glass. Call 580-541-7887. Located at Enid, OK.All logs and manuels are included. 1971 Bellanca Super Viking 17-31A TT 3867 , Serial Number: 32-52 Aircraft disassembled July 2010 All new fabric, cables, hoses, windsceen, All side windows, all new hardware, brakes, Nose gear strut, auxiliary fuel pump, air oil seperator, Painted with white to specs. Over $130.000 in recent spent with all reciets.
The engine is a Lycoming IO-540-KIES. Serial number is L-9534-48 and has 3867 TT. 1539 SMOH. All ADs complied. Does not use oil and flown only 2 hour last year. Aircraft is started once per month. Annual was completed 3/20/2016.
Hartzell prop. Model: HC-C3YR-2R. 3867 TT. 1539 SMOH strength: Bellanca"s in general are built for acrobatics and the Viking was no exception. However, the Super Viking was not certified for acrobatics. As I understand it"s a cost issue and Bellanca is not a large company. There is a story about the Viking going though certification where the FAA fails the wing. The jig could bend the wing 4’ before the wing tip hit the floor. The Viking wing didn’t fail! One FAA inspector wanted to reset the jig to force a failure. To this the other FAA inspector simply said; Why?The one we have lised is a 17-30A and I"ve listed the numbers below. I also listed the numbers for a Turbo Viking so the difference can be noted. The Numbers !
