This beautiful aircraft is in overall good shape. I have just recently purchased this plane and was in the process of getting checked out in it. I have been in aviation for 20 years. I own a house at an airpark and have had many airplanes. This airplane is an amazing performer (300hp). I am selling due to life changes. Family comes first. I am selling out of everything aviation. It is currently in annual but is due at the end of April. By the end of this auction the annual will be due. This plane has only 524.1 hours since a factory new engine (Continental IO 520K) and 524.1 hours since a factory new 3 blade Hartzell prop. These were installed in year 2000. Has only 11.1 hours since last annual on April 2014. This aircraft has had excellent maintenance history by very reputable shops. The paint is slightly faded and has some chips in the leading edge of the wings. Overall it could use some touch up. The side windows are lightly crazed but are useable. With a little TLC this could be a nice exterior finish. The interior was new in 2000 but could use some cleaning. A new right hand exhaust was installed last annual and both magnetos had a 500 hour inspection and yellow tagged. The engine is smooth and produces lots of power. The only issue I know is the right hand fuel sender seems to have stopped working while my instructor was flying it. I have not put much time on this plane since purchasing it since I am so busy. The radios are a KX125, KLX135, ADF, Garmin GTX320A transponder. The plane is located at a private airstrip east of Fairbanks Alaska. There are lots of maintenance shops located in Fairbanks to do an annual or you can ferry permit it to your preferred location. This is a no reserve auction.
