Auctioning off a 2008 Jabiru J250SP Sport LSA Project!! This auction is for the entire Jabiru J250SP s/n 523 project with engine, wings, flight controls, and avioinics! Make this your summer project and you could be up and flying by winter in a nice glass screen cockpit LSA Equipped with a Jabiru 3300A 6 cylinder that produces 120 H.P. S/N 33A1551 Engine has only 279hrs TT since new Avionics Included: GRT Primary Flight Display Screens GRT Auto Pilot EIS Engine Monitor Garmin GTX 330 Garmin SL 30 Nav/Comm PS Engineering PM3000 Intercom ELECTRIC FLAPS! Leather Seats! Cruise at 132mph with over 400lbs useful load! Make this your summer project and you could be up and flying in no time! Now while practicing landings the pilots lost control and experienced a runway excursion, the plane rolled down into a ditch and came to rest inverted. The damage however was relativity light. There was a prop strike and the nose gear did bent back causing the wheel pant to puncture the belly causing some damage in the floor area. Motor mount will need to be replaced, there is a small stress crack behind the left hand gear leg in the fuselage (very minor see pic) One lifting strut was broken but the other is perfect. There was NO damage to the wings, flaps, ailerons, or even the tail except for the pitot tube! Both upper and lower cowling will need some glass work. With some glass work and a few new parts this plane could easily but up and going again. NO damage to the windsheild, doors, or anyother part of the plane that I could see, both doors align up and close like intended.
