The airplane kit was purchased in 1995 from Merlin Aircraft in
Michigan. It is 95% finished. The airplane has a Subaru E81 engine that was
rebuilt; a standard ignition system; and a Dave Johnson reduction drive with a
3 blade warp drive prop. The motor has run about 3-4 hours. Estimated
time to finish is less than 100 hours. Everything to complete the airplane is
included in the selling price; builders log will be included. We are selling
due to medical issues. Selling as is. Airplane specs from the manufacturer
are: Fuel capacity is 16 gallons. Length is 20 feet, height is 6"4". The
30 foot wings have rounded wingtips. Wing area is 167 ft. and wing loading is
7.8 pounds per square foot. The wings are designed to handle normal load limit
of +4 and -2 G"s. The Merlin GT stalls at 33 mph and can cruise up to 333
miles. Payload with full fuel is 712 pounds. The wing is foldable for
