My father has owned this plane for 41 years and thinks it is
time to let someone else be its care taker. He would like to know it is going
to a “good home”. The plane is NC37716, CP-65, S/N 945. It has 3255 hours TT,
engine has 673 SMOH, and 528 STOH. A new climb prop was installed last year. The
original wings are included, but are not on the airplane now. The wings that
are on the plane are from S/N 577, the rest of that plane was burned in a
hanger fire during a restoration near Buffalo in the 90’s. The plane was recovered
in Poly-fiber in 2004, the paint is faded from being tied down outside in the winter.
It comes with a set of aluminum skis, and lots of paperwork dating back to the
40’s. The plane was fitted with floats in the 40’s and those mounting tabs are
still in place. It is currently airworthy and only needs a new owner. I have
a 22’ enclosed trailer and we can work out something to deliver the extra
wings. Current date: 2015-08-01
