Flying 1959 Beechcraft BE95 Travel Air. ACFTT approx 6610. Left Engine SMOH 950 Right Engine SMOH 1650. Engine had bottom end overhaul to include new bearings rod bolts, camshaft and case about 100 hours ago. HC-C2YK-CUF props 1200 SNEW, ie no AD"s. Has unfeathering accumulators. Engines are strong and run great. Heater is in inspection, operational and in great condition. I use it all the time. All AD"s complied with. Aircraft is in annual until Sept but will do a fresh annual with sale for fee. I am an A and P and this is my personal airplane so it is well maintained. Paint and interior are solid 7"s can be spruced up to a 8 pretty easily. Aircraft has always been hangered until the last couple of months. Has cabin cover, engine cowl plugs, gust locks, etc. I fly this aircraft regularly and it will start and go right now.

Aircraft has kinda beat up cowling nose bowls which is typical on a Travel Air. Carpet in the aircraft needs to be replaced but the leather seats arm rests and interior panels are in good shape. Left vaccuum pump quit on my last week but I am in the process of replacing. Both cowl flap motors need overhauling. Currently just leave them in the open position. Not an issue on a carbureted Travel Air but if you operate in extemely cold environment this will need to be fixed. Aircraft had some light skin damage history in the 60"s but no damage history since. Airplane needs a Garmin 430 coupled to the autopilot and if I was going to keep it that would be the only thing I would add. Fortunately there is still a big market for the KX155s and the digital DME"s and ADF"s. My local avionics guy says he would take these in on trade and install a used certified 430 for about 4K. Im sure this would be typical about anywhere. These are the only things negative I can say about this bird. I will fly it anywhere, anytime.

This is a No Reserve auction and I will sell the airplane to the highest bidder unless it sells before hand as it is for sell locally. Please ask any and all questions before you bid and you are welcome to come look at the airplane and even fly it if you will buy the gas. I will have to accompany you for insurance purposes of course. I expect full payment for the aircraft via cash or bank transfer with 7 days of auction close. I expect a 1000 deposit with 48 hours of auction close. Failure to perform after the auction will result in forefeiture of your deposit. Make sure you can pay and that you want the airplane before you bid.

Aircraft has COMPLETE logs since new. No gaps or missing logbooks. Folks this is a good, solid, great flying plane. Only a few knots slower than a Baron with way less fuel burn.

Current IFR PACKAGE

Dual KX-155"s, STEC 50 autopilot with Alt. Hold. "works perfectly. This is a 20K dollar autopilot at current pricing.", Freshly overhauled NSD 360 HSI vaccum, KI204, and KI214. King Silver digital ADF and DME. King audio panel, BX10 Stormscope. I fly this plane in the clouds regularly.

Aircraft glass in a great shape, has the long range fuel tanks, all with good bladders BTW, and the pilot and co-pilot seats are equiped with four point harness"s and she has dual yokes and toe brakes. Make a great multi trainer.

I dont check the computer much so it will be quicker to just give me a call. Let me answer this question that I always get when I sell an airplane on here. I have a local offer of 42K right now which I think is a little low. The airplane was professionally appraised a year ago at 59,700.00. I expect that she should sell in the mid to high forties. Let me reiterate that the aircraft is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells locally. Aircraft is Located in Anderson, SC. Please feel free to come look at it or call me to schedule a flight. Airport ID KAND.
