This very nice Aztec was in service performing aero mapping work when the commercial pilot forgot to put the gear down landing at KRNO. As the wheels on early Aztecs do not retract fully into the wheel wells, there was minimal damage to the aircraft. Full books and records, last annual was completed October, 2012. Total airframe time is just in excess of 6600 hours. Props, Engines and turbochargers were professionally removed (no wires/cables cut), so replacing would be a realistic possibility. My plan had been to containerize and ship to Hawaii for reassembly and island hopping, but there are just too many projects! The radios, some nav instruments, engines, props and turbochargers have been removed and are NOT included. Engine instrumentation is included as shown in the pictures. The camera port was professionally installed and certified and has a metal cover (see photos). Engine cowlings are in the airplane and included. The back and rear seats were removed for its photographic missions and are not included. If desired, I will include non matching rear and back Aztec seats, which you may pick up here in Phx, or I will ship to you at your expense. Sold as is, where is for parts or restoration. Tie down is paid thru May 31 at KRNO. Please plan to move the airplane by then. Current date: 2016-05-06
