You are bidding on a 1961 Comanche PA- 24-180 that was involved in a landing gear accident recently. There is no damage to our knowledge, to the landing gear system it’s self, it just needs to be greased. The gear came down normally, but was stiff, which caused the breaker to pop.
There are two belly skins which need to be scab patched, and of course the prop will need to be replaced. We have a ferry prop on the airplane at this time and you’re welcome to use the prop to move the plane but we will need a deposit for the prop until we get it back. I have dialed the crank to make sure that it is ok and the runout came back .0025. Well with the factory allowable limits. The engine runs great and with the prop strike inspection it will be ready to go. We have included some log book entries. Please look them over. The engine log started back in the early 90s but we have all of the logs for the airframe. The plane is still in annual until the end of this month. The paint is ok. The interior is not ripped or torn, just an older style interior. The engine still exhibits good compression.
Airframe has 4170 tt and the engine has 450 since major according to the log books. Radios are as follows. King kx155 with glideslope( I couldn’t get the leds to light up.
