Beautiful Diamondstar 40 with exceptionally low time! Fresh annual and IFR CERT last month. Sweet avionics package, fuel injected 180 HP engine, 890 LB useful load, 9.2 GPH fuel burn, 145 KNT cruise, spacey cabin with individual passenger vents, all records for aircraft since new. Approximately 1,200 hours on airframe and engine. Times will change as the aircraft is being flown regularly. Aircraft has flown about 20 hours this month, no sqawks! PRICE IS FIRM. Thinking about buying a Cirrus over a Diamond because it has a parachute? The Diamondstar 40 has a significantly lower stall speed, and handles better than the SR20. Also one must consider that Cirrus aircraft MUST have parachutes repacked every 8 years at a cost of $12,000 to $15,000, performed only at a certified Cirrus repair center. The Diamondstar 40 does not have this additional cost.
