The helicopter has a belt drive upgrade static Rotorway belt tensioner. Secondary shaft upgrade. Linear motor for the clutch. It is adjustable from the cabin. It has three set points one can be used for startup producing slip the other for full clutch disengage and engage. All button control in cabin.
Seat belt tensioners installed. All kit parts to complete the build including manuals. Main blades still in original crate. It is a great opportunity if you want to build a Rotorway.
All the avionics are installed.Today I tried to turn the engine by hand. It did not turn. It has been a few months since we last turned it. I only spend a minute or two trying to turn it. I had time to go to the hanger today to turn the engine. I opened the seat back panels for better access to the fly wheel.
I am glad to report that I was able to turn it easily. Engine is free and spins easily. I just did not have enough leverage from the back side.
I jumped the engine from my lawn mower battery and it cranked over just fine. Even with the small mower battery.
I took a video of it spinning with the starter but eb ay do not a llow videos. Current date: 2019-08-12
