2007 VAN’S RV-7, 489 SNEW AIRFRAME TIME, WIND DAMAGED, VERY REPAIRABLE, CHEAP!THE RV-7 IS THE CURRENT 2 SEAT SIDE BY SIDE MAINSTAY OF THE VAN’S RV LINE OF HOMEBUILT AIRCRAFT.THE RV-7 IS THE MODERNIZED AND UPDATED VERSION OF THE RV-6, WHICH WAS THE MOST PRODUCED HOMEBUILT AIRCRAFT IN HISTORY!THE RV-7, LIKE THE 6, IS A 2 SEAT, SIDE BY SIDE ALL METAL LOW WING AIRCRAFT, PRODUCED IN KIT FORM. IMPROVEMENTS TO MAKE IT AN RV-7 ARE LONGER WINGS, MORE FUEL CAPACITY, LARGER RUDDER, MORE HEADROOM AND LEGROOM, A HIGHER USEFUL LOAD AND POSSIBLY THE BIGGEST IMPROVEMENT, PRE-PUNCHED RIVET HOLES IN THE SKINS!THIS COMPUTER AIDED PREDRILLING OF THE SKINS ALLOWS FOR A MORE UNIFORM ASSEMBLY OF THE PARTS AND PRETTY MUCH GUARENTEES THAT THE AVERAGE RV-7 WILL COME OUT AS WELL AS THE BEST RV-6!THE RV-7 WAS DESIGNED FOR THE 0-360 180 H.P. ENGINE, BUT WILL ACCEPT UP TO 210 H.P. (THE RV-6 WAS DESIGNED FOR THE 0-320 AND COULD ACCEPT 180 H.P.)THIS AIRPLANE WAS NOT INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT, IT DID NOT CRASH.IT WAS SUBJECTED TO DEBRIS DAMAGE WHILE TIED DOWN DURING A HIGH WIND EVENT.IT DID NOT FLIP OVER, GO FLYING, OR TIP ON ITS NOSE, BUT LOTS OF STUFF BLEW AROUND IT.ALL OF THE GLASS IS INTACT, NO WATER IN THE INSIDE!BOTH WINGS ARE DAMAGED OUTBOARD, AND BOTH FLAPS AND AILERONS ARE ALSO HURT.THE VERTICAL FIN IS DAMAGED ON THE LEADING EDGE AND THE RUDDER ON THE TRAILING EDGE.THE HORIZONTAL HAS DAMAGE ON THE LEADING EDGE BUT THE SPAR LOOKS GOOD. THE ELEVATORS ARE BOTH DINGED UP.THE FUSELAGE IS 100% INTACT AND ROLLS AROUND EASILY ON ALL 3 UNDAMAGED LANDING GEAR.THERE ARE SCRAPES AND SCRATCHES AND SHALLOW PUSHES IN SEVERAL SPOTS, WITH A LITTLE MORE OBVIOUS DENTING ON THE LEFT LOWER FUSELAGE AFT OF THE WING.THE HEAVY SPAR CARRYTHROUGH STRUCTURE AND WING SPAR ATTACH POINTS ON THE FUSELAGE APPEAR COMPLETELY UNDAMAGED!!THE FIBERGLASS COWLINGS ARE SCRAPED AND CHIPPED A LITTLE BUT ARE PERFECTLY INTACT!THERE IS NO APPARENT FIREWALL OR BELLY SKIN DAMAGE!NO DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE MOUNT OR THE MAIN LANDING GEAR MOUNTING AREAS.THE TAILWHEEL, SPRING AND ATTACH AREAS ARE UNDAMAGED.ALL OF THE GLASS IS INTACT AND THE CANOPY OPENS AND CLOSES EASILY AND LATCHES PERFECTLY!THE GREY SEATS ARE NICELY BOLSTERED AND THE 4 POINT SEAT/SHOULDER BELTS ARE NEAT!THE SIDE PANELS ARE NICELY PADDED AND FANCY.NO AVIONICS ARE INCLUDED, BUT THE FLIGHT INSTRUMENTS SHOWN ARE, AS WELL AS THE VOICE ACTIVATED INTERCOM SYSTEM, THE GARMIN PANEL DOCK, TRIM FOR THE RUDDER AND ELEVATORS WITH STICK MOUNTED SWITCHES AND ALL SWITCHES AND CIRCUIT BREAKERS INSTALLED.ALSO INCLUDED, WIRED UP AND INSTALLED IS THE DIGITRAK AUTOPILOT SYSTEM!NICE TO HAVE AN AUTOPILOT ON A CROSS COUNTRY TRIP!!THE 0-360 ENGINE HAS BEEN UNBOLTED FROM THE ENGINE MOUNT PROFESSIONALLY (NO CUTTING) AND ALL ENGINE CONTROL CABLES, ELECTRICAL WIRING, ETC. ARE INCLUDED AND UNDAMAGED.THE CARB INTAKE BOX AND BAFFLING WERE REMOVED FROM THE ENGINE AND ARE INCLUDED WITH THE AIRFRAME, TO MAKE IT VERY EASY IF YOU CHOOSE TO GO BACK WITH A 180 H.P.
