This Titan Aircraft T51 Mustang Kit builds a 3/4 scale P-51 Mustang replica, including a second seating position with full controls. The kit is complete and includes all structural parts, fasteners, hydraulics and basic wiring in the fuselage, outer wing, wing center section, tail section, scoop/radiator housing, electrical and finish modules. We also have the optional fiberglass belly scoop, metal rudder and elevator skins, and billet fuel tank fillers, a $1200 bonus which goes with the kit. The wing center section is factory built with retracts installed. Outer wing panels are the only part started and are about 30% complete. We re-Inventoried the kit, it is complete and in numbered boxes or cartons. No engine, propeller, or instruments are included.
Easy upgrades if you desire to install the GM LS3 300hp V-8 engine. Over $20,000 savings at the reserve pricing vs. the current factory price, there is nearly enough in savings to purchase the GM LS3 engine and firewall forward kit. With the LS3 engine, finish weight ~1650 lbs., 170-180 MPH cruise, 53 MPH stall, and +6g / -4g load limit. Estimated build time is 1600 hours.
