Here is a rare BD-5 airplane kit in good condition. Assembly began on this plane but besides some panel assembly it was never finished. No engine is included. What is included though: hull/fuselage with some partial panel assembly, wings (I believe this is the long wing version), rear tail wings, landing gear (I"m not sure if this is complete or not), cockpit cover, original aluminum tubing, original BD aluminum panels, boxes of misc. brackets, parts, and original hardware, and instructions/blueprints. Please look over the pictures to view the inventory. What you see is what is included.

We bought this with the purpose of assembling and hanging from the rafters in our classic car restoration shop. But it seems apparent that this is a project that we will never get around to completing so it is up for sale. We purchased it from a retired local pilot in this condition. To our knowledge it has always been stored indoors. The condition of the parts is very good with no corroding or damage visible.
Free local pick up. We can help with arranging transportation if needed. We load containers headed to Sweden at our facility in downtown Phoenix, Arizona every month, so cheap shipping to Scandinavia is no problem.
