3 Place Boeing Stearman. No Kidding! 3 place Stearman with STD Airworthiness Certificate. This is one of a kind for a great ride hopping business. She was a 1942 WWll trainer and a duster over her career. She is an A75-N1 PT17 with a 450 HP Pratt & Whitney 9 cylinder radial engine. Only 442 SMOH. Prop is Hamilton Standard 2D30 hub with the LONG 6101A-12 blades with only 20 hours SMOH.The front seat was modified IAW the FAA approved STC to convert it and keep the Standard Airworthiness Certificate. Great for the ride hopping business. Additional extras are the STC for the fiberglass fuselage shell which is bullet proof from knees and elbows of riders. She has the Redline Brakes and Gasser banner and glider tow installation as well.
Avionics include a King KY97 digital flip flop comm, King KT76A transponder, encoder and intercom. Aircraft has a fresh Annual and pitot/static/transponder certification.
Getting old and time to retire to a smaller spam can so will consider a partial trade of a Cessna 172 plus cash. The Stearman is located in Delray Beach, FL which is about 12 miles SSW of Palm Beach International Airport on the East coast.
