Airbike, Part 103 legal ultralight.
Rotax 277 engine. 2-blade Ivoprop. Had the engine running last fall.
Selling due to age and health.
Local pickup only, in central Kentucky.
PAYMENT BY CASH-IN-PERSON UPON PICKUP.
A $200 non-refundable PayPal deposit is required within 24 hours of closing. This covers my listing expenses if you bid, then back out.
This is my own personal ultralight.
This aircraft weighs 245 pounds empty.
Almost ready to fly. Just tighten up all the bolts, Torque the prop bolts to 200 inch-pounds, and tighten the pitch control locknut per recommendations on the Ivoprop website, Connect the kill switch, put some kind of weight on the end of the fuel suction line inside the tank, put a lawnmower-type fuel filter in the fuel line, clean out the float bowl, check the spark plug, things like that. Go over it with a fine-tooth comb just like you would any aircraft before you fly it. It doesn"t need much.
I recently put a seat belt on it. Not shown in pictures.
The only instrument on it is a cylinder head temp (CHT) gauge.
The fuel tank is a 2-gallon jug that tractor oil came in. I put that on it just to fly it locally, around the airfield, until I got everything else to suit me. Part 103 allows a 5-gallon tank.
No title or registration. (none required on ultralights). NO LOGS.
Sold as-is, where-is, with no warranties, neither expressed nor implied. Sale is final. I make no claim or representation regarding the airworthiness of this aircraft, or its suitability for any particular purpose, nor its safety in the hands of an inexperienced pilot.
The flat tire you see in the pictures has been repaired. I put a new inner tube in it last week.
There is a patch on the underside of the left wing that I had forgot to include in the pics and description. I think I remember the previous owner saying the fabric got torn somehow, and he patched it with some kind of "super" tape. It is a good patch.
