The completed Eaglet shown is for reference only to show what this kit could look like when built. This is relisted due to non paying bidder !! This is an American Eagle Eaglet kit project that I purchased in partial built state. The Eaglet is an ultralight inverted "V" tail motor glider with a 36" span. Built it"s 16 feet long with a weight of approx. 170 lbs empty. Aspect ratio is 18:1. The construction is of wood, foam, meatal and fiberglass. It is towable and also self launching with a small McCulloch (101) motor and folding pusher prop. The motor is NOT included. The prop blades are NOT included with this kit. There are lots of premade/started parts. Approx 75 bags plus extras. Includes the fiberglass fuselage pod, aluminum tail boom still in shipping tube. Fuselage frame with retractable landing gear started. Control mixer and rudder pedals started. Prop shaft for folding prop. Streamlined struts and tubing. V tail stabilizers and elevators started. Plans and notes. Wings are approx 17 feet long each and are pictured hanging and wrapped in cardboard. These were prebuilt when I purchased this project. The party I purchased this from left the wings out in the weather and were sun/rain damaged and the wings are not airworthy. You can have them for examples or leave them. Some minor corrosion on steel parts.The plans are not in very good shape but usable in some cases. It"s best to locate another set of plans. The building instruction manuals for the tail, wings, fuselage, motor mount, drive, rigging, testing and operations ARE ALL INCLUDED. I also have the 16 and 5 foot Teleflex control cables for the wings and ruddervators. Cables not pictured. This is a vintage 70"s project and is sold as is.
