Relisted under aircraft due to ebay not letting me put a reserve in aircraft parts...
Here is a Bell P-39D-1 Airacobra cockpit / cabin that is excess to my needs for my restoration projects but may suit another restoration or maybe even a cockpit display in a museum or flight sim game.
The aircraft it came off was a combat veteran of the pacific in WW2, it was originally a P-39D and later converted to a D-1, it was used to fly air combat patrols and harass Japanese shipping between Fiji, New Caledonia, Guadalcanal and Vanuatu with the 70th pursuit squadron, 347th fighter group in 1942-43 until it suffered a crash landing in Fiji in 1943 due to excess landing speed in which the pilot broke his back and was sent back to the States.
The cabin is fairly bare, no firewall, glass or doors are included, it obviously has corrosion in spots, it is 75 years old, but it is structurally strong, the aircraft serial number is still stenciled on the USAAF data block on the side, i can include the original seat at extra cost. The cabin is also almost identical to a Bell P-63 Kingcobra (firewall differences).
This is a rare opportunity and you may never see one of these come up again.
I will ship world wide via sea freight on a pallet, cost will vary but i shipped an aircraft engine that was bigger and much heavier to the uk for about $800, the cabin weighs less than 100kg / 220lbs.
