Item specifics
Condition: Used Make: Cessna
Model Year: 1977
After much deliberation I have decided to put my beloved Skyhawk for sale. I looked and looked for a low time 172N for a while until I found this one in PA a couple years ago. Always hangared, same owner for a while, etc. Looked good, handled great, so I pulled the trigger. Ferried it down to Miami without a glitch. Have not had enough time to fly it, so cost/hour makes no sense to me. Nothing wrong with bird! Now to specifics:
LOW time 172N 2800 TTAF, 1709 TSFRM Lycoming O320-H2AD running smoothly, NDH all logs since new. Mc.Cauley climb prop, Cleveland wheels and brake conversion, Lord shimmy. Garmin 347 intercom intercom, 4 place with audio input, Garmin SL30 nav/com (sweet!), 496 w/XM on Gizmo mount, Garmin MD200-306 indicator (nice, nice!!!), lots of new plastics (landing gear fairings, strut fairings, wingtips, stabilizer tips, vertical fin cap), sun visors and more. Newer upholstery and carpet in perfect shape. Front seats are both fully articulating. Paint is 7/10. ACF50 treated during ever annual. Overhauled carb 3 hours ago. PS due 09/17, annual due 09/16. Flown regularly. Shade-hangared at KTMB (Miami). Kenyon sun/heat reflectors, Sunbrella cockpit cover. Times will change slightly as plane is flown regularly.
I will ferry the plane for costs (fuel, landing fees, etc) and return ticket anywhere east of the Rockies.
This is not the only Skyhawk II model N for sale in the market, not the cheapest one, not the nicest one. But I think this is a great unmolested example, with amazingly low hours (average of 70 hours/year). Engine is mid-time and very healthy. This is a ready to-fly bird. I would not hesitate to take this plane cross-country today. Reserve price is modestly set and BIN at an attractive level if you are not the patient kind.
I would encourage potential buyers to contact me (Leo 7869994811). If you are serious about this, arrange for a fly-out (sign for liability waiver). All this has to be done BEFORE auction ends. Once you win the auction you own the airplane.
I will require a $2000 deposit via Paypal within 24hrs of auction close and balance within 5 days via wire transfer or cashier"s check from major banking institution. I would also prefer that the buyer arranges for escrow services and title services with one of the many companies that offer it. This is for your protection.
Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
