This plane is FAST, yet docile and easy to fly throughout the entire speed range. It is the PERFECT airplane to transition into the world of "high speed performance" ... cruise at 170-180/kts @ 8000/ASL, burning 8/GPH, and with 58/gal of fuel, stay aloft for 6/hrs while knocking off 1000/mi legs. It has the extended wing tips (wet) for added gross weight, better climb rates and faster cruise, and I also have the short "aerobatic" tips as well (I have never used them). It does not have inverted fuel or oil systems.
The panel is a standard 6/pack layout with vacuum and elec gyro"s, it is IFR capable, with a full King stack (KMA-24 Audo, KX-155 Nav/Com with G/S, KY-197 Com, KN-64 DME, KLN-89B GPS), S-Tec auto pilot (alt hold and heading select), and features EI digital engine gauges with a JPI fuel flow computer with range and endurance monitoring. Retractable landing is "elec-hydrolic" and the flaps and trim is elec.
The "CDN" military graphics are vinyl and easily removed. Exterior is a 7.5 & Interior is a 6 (it could use some newer seat cushions & side pockets), otherwise it is functional.
If you are interested in going fast while keeping it safe, consider this Glasair. It is predicable in flight with no bad habits, fast when you want it to be, while slow in the pattern. Having owned this bird for 5/yrs, don"t let anyone tell you that these are unstable or dangerous ... that is just NOT true.
