1947 Piper Super Cruiser Project Aircraft PA12-160, N3600MYou are bidding on a Piper Super Cruiser Project. The aircraft is equipped with the 160hp engine, Lycoming O-320-A2B. Nice interior! Professionally disassmbled. The aircraft recently, July 2015, received damage during an unfortunate incident. The incident occured during landing, The aircraft went into an adjact cornfield when the aircraft was rolling out from landing. The right wing caught the corn which pulled it into the field. The aircraft rolled over the left wing and upside down. The pilot descibed the roll over as very gentle. He was not injured. The damages are contained to both wing tips and some compression under the right wing. Both wings need to be recovered. The left rear spar attachment on the fuselage has some minor bending which is noticable on the fabric. The propeller has a slight bend on the very end of one blade. The spinner has a crease. There was no damge to the tail section.
