New Sonerai 2016 This is a new build. The fuselage is all solid welded and only lacks mounting tabs.
Item specifics
Condition: | New | Make: | Sonerai |
Model Year: | 2016 |
I have a very low time (only a couple hours of break in on the ground) Revmaster 2100D engine. It has dual magneto ignition, stater type alternator, voltage regulator, new Revflow carburetor, and is ready to run.
New untouched wing kit from Sonerai along with everything needed for the S-mod that is recommended to make this aircraft a +or- 9G airplane. It includes all skins, pre-made ribs, ailerons, spars and other components. This kit alone is over $3,000.
Other parts include: new glass canopy ($595), landing gear ($650), tires, wheels, brakes, rudder cables, all control tubes minus one straight one for the elevator. Canopy frame, seats are welded in, seat belts, fuel tank ($400), new propeller ($550), prop spinner (uncut with bulkheads $195), and almost all hardware (several hundred dollars) needed to assemble minus maybe a couple bolts and rivets. The wing spar carry through is also complete and ready to install.
There is more than $2,200 worth of tubing alone, that is before any labor and gas for welding. All welding is professionally done.
Tail surfaces are ready for paint and cover. I"m sure there is much more that I have, that I haven"t thought to list.
The photo of the red aircraft is how this fuselage is built. It has a lower turtle deck to give better visibility and better rain protection for the cockpit versus the plans. Plus looks more like an RV4. The vertical stabilizer and rudder are slightly over sized but otherwise everything else is built to plans. These changes were done after much consulting with designers and other Sonerai builders.
What is needed to finish this project: fabric, finish and paint, instruments (very basic), and cowling. As far as I know everything else as far as major components is here and accounted for, including an extra set of cable brakes that were over $200. There is well over $12,000 worth of parts and pieces and should only take some time to finish as well as minor component purchases. The Engine alone is $7,500 now.
Please do your research, there is a ton of information on these aircraft available online as well as a very active builders and owners forum. This aircraft should cruise at 140 MPH or better according to those that have flown them, this is a realistic number burning 4.5 GPH of auto fuel.
If you have any other questions please feel free to email me. I"ll answer as quickly as I can.
This project is located in Mount Holly New Jersey. I will not ship as it is 17" long and there are many boxes and pieces, including the engine. It will need to be picked up. Delivery within 100 miles for a reasonable rate may be arranged but must be done before you bid.
Look at my seller/buyer rating. I take this very serious and have 100% for a reason. I am easy to deal with and will work very hard to make sure you are taken care of and are satisfied.
The reserve is less than half of the value of the parts. The only reason I"m selling is to free up some space for another project. Cash on pick up only unless you make other arrangements with me. I can store for up to a month but will require a substantial down for that. Again, please just contact me about all of this before bidding.
Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
