Today we have a very rare Termite II S/N 001 N6378H built in
2003 available. The total time for the engine and airframe is less than 100
hours in service. It has a 27 ft wingspan and is about 17 ft in length. The
empty weight is 776 lbs with a max takeoff of 1108 lbs. The construction is
4130 tubing for the fuselage and tail section. The wing is standard wood
construction. It is equipped with basic instruments and the engine is a Subaru
EA81 85hp with reduction drive. I have just completed its annual inspection for this year
12/15 it is ready to go. The engine was fully serviced with new plugs, oil
change with filter, and the cooling system flushed and refilled. This engine is
a hydraulic lifter EA81 so maintenance is much easier. It starts easily and
runs strong. The compression is equal and balanced on all cylinders at 185 psi.
The front and rear cockpits each have windscreens. The front cockpit is very
roomy. The back is a little tighter. I am 6’1” and 220 lbs and fit comfortably
in the back. I have included several photos but if I have missed an area let me
know and I will get the information ASAP. The best option would be to come have
a look at the plane prior to purchase. The plane is current hangered at West Liberty airport (TS35) just to the West of Dayton TX. Please obtain any permission
needed prior to bidding for the plane. Payment will be by cash at pickup. NO
