Item specifics I am auctioning a Viking Dragonfly Mk II home-build experimental aircraft. The plane was my fathers and he passed way recently. It is about 80% to 85% finished. I believe all the parts to finish it are there except paint, interior material and a few odds and ends. Includes instruments, canopy (still has protective coating on it), Hapi modified VW engine and propeller, air-frame, wings, and landing gear, and instruction manual, no builders log, and several boxes miscellaneous items. The plane was started in the AZ factory by my Dad and Mom then transported home to the hanger for final build. My Dad was a craftsman and very meticulous. This plane would be a great project for someone as most of it is complete and a very economical way to get into aviation. I will try to answer any questions but I am not a pilot and I did not help build the plane. My Dad had about $20,000 in this plane I have it listed with a very low reserve. It is sold as is where is and must be picked up before June 30, 2016. I would rather not ship it but if the buyer makes all the arrangements including crating, loading and freight I would be willing to do it. Wikipedia has a good description. You may be able to find other sources for more information on the internet. Thanks for looking and happy bidding. Current date: 2016-06-16
